Theresa Holliday Benedict , 72, of Fort Pierce, passed peacefully early Monday morning.
Born in Ithaca, NY, 1945 she was the daughter of Charles and Irene Holliday. She leaves her husband of 49 years, Fredric C. Benedict; daughter, Nicole (Craig); beloved grandchildren, Austin, Clara Gene and Nicholas Vines; brother, Louie (Kathy) Holliday of Scottsburg, Indiana.

Theresa was a graduate of Geneva High class of 1963 and Crouse Irving Nursing School class of 1966. She was a member of the US Coast Guard Auxiliary 1999-2002, the Director of Surgery at Port St. Lucie Medical for over 20 years and a Reiki Master. She loved life, was fearless, always saw the good in everyone and everything but most important she was a fighter. If it could be done, she could do it!
