Thomas J. Clark, 69, of Vero Beach, died Thursday, August 25, 2011 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, after a brief illness.
He was born August 9, 1942 in the Bronx, NY. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1998, coming from New York.
He served in the United States Army.
Mr. Clark was an usher at St. Helen Catholic Church
Prior to his retirement he worked as a motor man for the New York Transit Authority for 17 years.
He is survived by his wife of 20 years, Mary; daughter, Mary Lisa Alfalla of Vero Beach; brother, John Clark of Millwood, NJ; and two nieces.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Josephine, and brothers, Edward Clark and George Clark.

Services: Visitation will be held on Sunday, August 28, 2011 from 4-7PM, with a prayer service at 6:00PM at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach a funeral mass will be held Monday, August 29, 2011 at St. Helen Catholic Church at 10:00AM. Interment will be at South Florida National Cemetery.
