Thomas Joseph Danaher, 57, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away at home on Saturday, October 3, 2015. Tom was born in Louisville KY, lived many years in San Jose, CA, and relocated to Vero Beach over 15 years ago. He was a successful commercial insurance agent. He served in the U.S. Army, was an avid golfer, an active member of the Elks and worked with several local charities.

He is survived by his siblings, Daniel (Lynna Rae) of Vero Beach, FL, Kevin (Sharon) of San Jose, CA, Lisa, of Louisville, KY and Lee, of Phoenix, AZ; his stepmother, Patricia Danaher of Phoenix, AZ and several loving nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his mother, Nancy Linton Danaher and his father, Daniel J. Danaher.

The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 11:00 AM, Saturday, October 10, 2015 with a celebration of his life to begin at 11:00 AM at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, FL.

In lieu of flowers the family requests donations to be made to the Hibiscus Children of Indian River or ARC of Indian River.

There will be a private burial in Louisville, KY.
