Thomas Raymond Dundon passed away September 7, 2024. He was born May 10, 1932 to the late James C. and Mary (Strobel) Dundon. A native of Youngstown, he attended St. Dominic's School, Boardman High School and graduated from Youngstown State University.

Tom served in the US Army in Tokyo, Japan from 1954-1956. He married Helen Abel on November 30, 1957. Together they lived in Cleveland, Ohio raising 4 children before moving to Vero Beach, Florida.

Tom worked his entire professional career for The General Electric Company, retiring in 1990. Tom was a member of St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach. He was active in the Knights of Columbus and gave generously to charities primarily dedicated to children and veterans. He enjoyed spending time with his family and friends, swimming laps daily and watching sports.

Tom is survived by his children Mary (Molly) Leighton, Thomas E. (Linda), Mark (Anne), and Sean; 9 grandchildren and a great grandchild, sibling Carol Doyle; brother-in-law Richard (Barbara) Abel, sisters-in-law Patricia Collins and Jackie Wolter, and a multitude of nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his beloved wife of 57 years, Helen; siblings James and Daniel Dundon, Louise Feeney, Rosemary Tate.

Visitation will be held on Friday, September 13, 2024 from 3:30-5:00pm at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street, Vero Beach, FL 32960.

A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Saturday, September 14, 2024, at 11:00AM at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church, 7550 26th St., Vero Beach, FL 32966

Tom dedicated his life to his faith and family and will be dearly missed by all who knew him.
