Thomas Farrell, 77, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, April 18, 2010 at the Consulate Health Care of Vero Beach.
Mr. Farrell was born May 24, 1932 in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Vero Beach 34 years ago from Queens Village, Long Island, NY.
Prior to his retirement he was private home care giver. Mr. Farrell was a member of St. Helens Catholic Church and the Irish American Club in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his son Thomas Farrell of Seaford, NY; daughters Eileen Hrzich of Levittown, NY, Doreen DelCol of Lawrenceville, NJ, Patricia Scorcia of Linderhurst, NY and Margaret Sapienza of Oyster Bay, NY; sisters Kathleen Christian of Vero Beach, Joan Appello of Fairfield, CT and Rita Stiger of Rockaway, NY; and twelve grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his daughter Kathleen Artis.
Services: A memorial mass will be held in Long Island, New York at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the Spina Bifida Association, 4590 MacArthur Blvd. NW, Ste. 250, Washington, DC 20007.
