Thomas Charles Fay, 90, of Vero Beach died Monday, April 23, 2012 at his home.

Mr. Fay was born February 16, 1922 in Philadelphia, PA. He had been a resident of Vero Beach for 48 years, coming from New Jersey.

He served in the United States Army as a medic during WWII. He served overseas in France and Germany during that time.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a salesman for Jack's Cookies and Archway Cookies.

He was a member of the VFW, the Elks and Moose Lodge, and the American Legion.

Survivors include his wife of 69 years, Esther; daughter Janet Maiese of Washington Township, NJ; grandsons, Ronald Maiese and Troy (Wendy) Maiese; great-grandchildren Alyssa Maiese and Troy Maiese Jr; and great great-granddaughter Kirstin Maiese.

He was preceded in death by his sisters Jean Young and Margaret Hume.
