Obituary

Thomas F. Geoly, 88, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, August 20, 2010 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Geoly was born July 24, 1922, in Brooklyn, NY and moved to Vero Beach 22 years ago from Central New York State.
During WW II, he served as an Army Air Corps Reconnaissance Photographer. He was a Professional Photographer and owned Geoly Studios in New York City and as a harness horse breeder he also owned Trot n Pace Acres. He served on the Washingtonville, NY School Board, 1965 - 1970. Mr. Geoly served as President of the East Meadow Little League, 1955-1968, and was a member of the US Trotting Association, 1963 - 1976. He was a Girl Scout and Cub Scout volunteer, a soup kitchen volunteer at Our Fathers Table in Gifford, FL and helped to restore the West Burlington, New York, Memorial Church.
Survivors include his longtime partner and companion Gail Owens of Vero Beach; two daughters Robin-Lynn Geoly McClean of Eatontown, NJ and Victoria Geoly Gallo of Miami, FL; a sister Constance Geoly Donley of Garden City, NJ; six grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
He was predeceased by two sons, Frank (Skippy) Geoly and Drew Stephen Geoly; two brothers Andrew and Peter Geoly; and three sisters, Marion, Frances and Angelina.
