Thomas Berry Mills, 59, of Vero Beach, FL, passed away, Wednesday, June 18, 2014 at Indian River Medical Center.

He was born September 14, 1954 in Roswell, NM and had been a resident of Vero Beach for 40 years.

Mr. Mills was a veteran of the United States Marine Corps.

He will be dearly missed by his coworkers at Barker Heating and Air Conditioning of Vero Beach, where he worked 25 years as an HVAC technician.

Mr. Mills enjoyed hunting, fishing and 4 wheeling. He was a NASCAR fan and played guitar. Mr. Mills was always available to lend a helping hand to family and friends in need.

He is survived by his wife of 15 years, Kay Mills; daughters, Traci (Logan) Henderson of Vero Beach; Tammy (Phil) Santomauro of Del Rio, TX; step-children, Kelly (Mike) Hagen, Christopher Hagen and Scott (Linda) Hagen all of Vero Beach; parents, Chuck and Jackie Mills; sisters, Cathy (Joe) Wilson, Debbie (Jerry) Piper and Dorothy Mills; brothers, Tony (Diane) Mills and John (Barbara) Mills; grandchildren, Michael (Jennifer), Trevor, Cory, Harrison, Brandon, Olivia, Phoenix, Rokh and Oliver; great-grandson, Hunter; his beloved bird, Jake, and many nieces and nephews.

A gathering of family and friends will be held 1-3pm, Sunday, June 22, 2014 followed by a 3pm Celebration of Life Service at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home.
