Thomas J. Waters, Jr., 71, a retired painter, of Vero Beach, passed away on Friday, July 2, 2010, at home.
Thomas was born October 1, 1938 in Chicago, Illinois and has been an Indian River County resident since 1944, moving here from Chicago.
He was a U.S Navy veteran, a member of the Catholic faith, and belonged to the American Legion, and the Eagles.
Survivors include 5 sons; Thomas T. T.J. Waters of Sebastian, FL, Timothy Waters of Kentucky, Todd Waters of Vero Beach, FL, Ted Waters of Vero Beach, and Tad Waters of New Jersey, a daughter Tammie Waters of St. Cloud, FL, a brother Donald Waters of Sebastian, 2 sisters; Frances Heirs and Kathleen Biggers, both of Vero Beach, 10 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, and numerous nieces and nephews.
Celebration of Life will be held at 2:00 PM, August 7, 2010 at the American Legion/VFW Post # 39 in Vero Beach, FL.
Memorials may be sent to VNA Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
