Trixie May Lemons Kinney of Vero Beach, Florida passed away on September 28th, 2017 at VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach, with her daughter by her side.
She was born to the late Marvin Olan Lemons and Maggie May Maxey Lemons on February 7, 1924 in Placentia, California. Trixie graduated from Fullerton High School in 1941 and married the late Chester Larry Kinney on August 15th of the same year. They lived together in southern California until relocating to Gravette, Arkansas in 1968. After retirement from her position as a Customer Service Representative with Empire District Electric Company, they moved to Siloam Springs, Arkansas where they enjoyed remodeling their Victorian home. When her health started to fail, Trixie moved to The Woodlands, TX to reside with her daughter, Deborah. They relocated to Vero Beach in 2016.
Trixie was a member of the Community Christian Fellowship church in Siloam Springs, AR. She loved to read, sew, garden, and travel.
Trixie is survived by her children Karen (Robert) Mikles of Magazine, AR and Deborah Kinney of Vero Beach, FL. She is also survived by three grandchildren and twelve great-grandchildren.
Burial will be at the Fayetteville National Cemetery in Fayetteville, AR, at a later date.
