Ursula Opitz Lightle passed away on March 27, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House.
She was born in Breslau, Germany and resided in Hollywood, FL for 57 years, recently moving close to her sons in Vero Beach.
During WW II Ursula worked for the US Army as a translator where she met her husband to be, Glenn Lightle. She then immigrated to the U.S. in 1947 to marry Glenn on January 1, 1948. Ursula was a devoted wife and caring mother to her four children, Ursula White of Blue Ridge, GA., Jeffery Lightle of Ft. Pierce, FL, Roger Lightle of Vero Beach, Robin Lightle of Hollywood, FL and six grandchildren. She was preceded in death by Glenn Lightle, a retired Legal Officer for the city of Hollywood, FL Police Department. A memorial celebration of life will be held in Hollywood April 26th.
