Vance L. Bell 86, died Monday October 19, 2009 in Melbourne Florida. He was born May 08, 1934 in Pahokee, Florida.
Vance was a member of the First Baptist Church of Eau Gallie and served 3 years in the United States Navy. Vance retired in 1988 after 34 years of service with Pan Am World Services. He was also a City Councilman of Eau Gallie. Vance was a FSU Graduate and he was one of the first group of men to attend the school when it was FSCW in 1946.
He is survived by his wife Christine of Eau Gallie Florida and a Son; Wayne Bell ( Suzie ) of Oregon and a daughter; Brenda Bell of New Orleans.
Calling hours will be on Wednesday from 5pm to 7pm at Davis Seawinds Funeral Home & Crematory, 560 Montreal Avenue Melbourne, Florida 32935.
Funeral Service will be Thursday October 22, 2009 at 11am at the First Baptist Church of Eau Gallie followed by Internment at the Eau Gallie Cemetery.
In lieu of flowers donations could be made to the First Baptist Church of Eau Gallie 1501 W. Eau Gallie Blvd. Melbourne, Florida 32935 for the "Challenge to Build".
