Verda I. Beckett, 90, of Sebastian, FL died Friday, March 20, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach, FL.
Mrs. Beckett was born August 19, 1918 in Sardis, OH and had been a resident of the Sebastian and Vero Beach area for 21 years coming from Tulsa, OK.
Prior to her retirement she had worked as a clerk for Ron Rennick Antiques for 10 years, and was a member of the Church of Christ in Sebastian.
Survivors include her husband of 73 years, Harry Beckett of Vero Beach, OH, and nephews Bruce Winland of Sandford, FL and Brent Winland of Abilene, TX.
Services: A graveside service is scheduled for Tuesday, March 24, 2009 at 1 PM at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach, FL. With the Reverend Al Woodard and Boyd Williams presiding.
