Violet Virginia Dant, of Vero Beach, Florida passed away Thursday, February 26, 2015 at VNA Hospice House. She was born December 24, 1925 in Warrior, AL and had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1980.

She was the former owner of Kountry Kitchen With Love until her retirement in 1998.

Mrs. Dant is survived by her husband of 23 years, Kenneth Dant; daughter, Sue (Alan) Jackson; son, Larry (Connie) Love, all of Vero Beach; sister, LaVerne Rickles of Kimberly, AL; 5 grandchildren and 13 great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by her son, Harry Love, Jr. and 10 siblings.

A memorial service will be held 4 pm, Monday, March 2, 2015 at the First Church of God in Vero Beach.
