Virginia W. Desmond-Williams
Virginia W. Desmond-Williams, 85, of Vero Beach passed away on Friday, August 9, 2013 at the Grace Rehabilitation Center of Vero Beach.
Virginia was born August 14, 1927 in Fort Lauderdale, FL. She had been a resident of Vero Beach since 2000, coming from Fort Lauderdale.
Prior to her retirement she worked as a teacher and principal at the North Andrew Garden Elementary School for 23 years.
Survivors include her sister, Helen Bailey of Vero Beach; daughter, Laura Attwood of Vero Beach; grandson, Robert Attwood of Vero Beach; granddaughter, Nicole Desmond of Wisconsin; great-granddaughter, Olivia of Wisconsin and numerous nieces and nephews.
A graveside service will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Tuesday, August 13, 2013 at Forest Lawn Central Memorial Gardens in Fort Lauderdale, FL.
