Virginia Garrett's Obituary
Virginia Dale Garrett, 90, of Vero Beach, Fl, passed away on Thursday, December 8, 2016 with her family by her side.
She was born to the late Curtis and Eliza Barker on April 8, 1926 in Henlawson, West Virginia, and graduated from Chapmanville High School in 1944. She married the late Leslie Garrett in 1946 and relocated to the south suburbs of Chicago, Illinois in 1951, later returned to West Virginia in 1989 and finally to Vero Beach, Fl in 2006.
Virginia is survived by her children, Kenneth Garrett and David Garrett both of Vero Beach; daughter in law, Barbara of Vero Beach; 3 grandchildren, Christopher of Cortland, New York, Adam (Lesley) of Crown Point, IN and Eric of Hobart, In; 3 great grandchildren, Gage, Trenton, and Chance, her sister, Ida Rose Saylor and many nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends from 10:00 AM until 12:00 PM with a service to follow at noon Friday, December 16, 2016 at Shining Light Baptist Church in Chapmanville, WV. Interment will follow at Garrett Cemetery.
