Virgnina Mae Horky left this earthly realm on December 2, 2023, after a short battle with stage 4 lung cancer. She was 89 years old.

It would be wrong to say that Virginia's didn't battle because she never stopped fighting. No matter how sick she was, she was always determined. When anyone else would have broken, Virginia stayed strong. Through her, we know what resilience and perseverance truly looks like. There was no quit in Virginia. Just because she is no longer here, it doesn't mean she lost her fight.

Virginia is survived by her husband George Horky of 67 years.  She is survived by her daughter Jennifer and her husband Edward Vetrano and her son Anthony Horky.   She is also survived by her granddaughters Amanda Vetrano, Nicole Hocutt & Kasey Baker. She has 2 great grandchildren Mara and Lucas. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Virginia is also survived by her sister, Margaret Monaco.  She is predeceased by her brother Edward Reulbach & by her son, Andrew Horky.

Funeral services were private. She will be laid to rest on December 24, 2023 at St James church in Bedford, Pennsylvania under the direction of Father Jeff Bassette.
