Virginia D. Nelson, of Rockledge, died Saturday, May 23, 2009 at Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center, Rockledge.
She was born in Rapidan, Virginia and had been a resident of Rockledge for 47 years coming from Charlottesville, Va.
Prior to retirement she was employed by the government.
She is survived by her husband of 44 years, Doug Nelson of Rockledge; sons, Wayne and Jeff Lloyd of Orange, Va.; three sisters and one brother of Va, two granddaughters, one grandson, and two great-granddaughters.
She was predeceased by her daughter, Beverly Lloyd in 1996.
The family wishes to convey their gratitude for the loving care received by Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center. In lieu of lowers, donation to c/o Wuesthoff Hospice Care Center, Rockledge, 8060 Spyglass Hill Road, Viera, Florida 32940.
Inurnment will be in Rapidan, Va.
