Virginia Powell Tackitt, 91, of Vero Beach, FL died Sunday, December 23,2007 at the Indian River Estates Medical Center in Vero Beach.
Mrs. Tackitt was born July 10, 1916 in Snow Hill, MD and had lived in Salsbury, MD prior to moving to Vero Beach in 1993 from Newton, KS.
She was a member of Westminster Presbyterian Church in Vero Beach. Prior to her retirement Mrs. Tackitt had been a receptionist for a dental office in Pocomoke City, MD.
Survivors include her son John Powell of Coconut Creek, FL.
Mrs. Tackitt was predeceased by her husband Fred Tackitt.
