Virginia K. Weaver, 90, of Vero Beach, FL died Friday, July 11, 2008 at the Indian River Estates Medical Center in Vero Beach.
She was born June 10, 1918 in St. Louis, MO to her loving parents Henry and Lillian Webster. In 1940 she moved to Miami Beach to marry John W. Weaver where she lived for 22 years. She returned to St. Louis in 1962 and worked as an assistant in the Purchasing Department at Dart Industries. She returned to Florida in 1987 and settled in Vero Beach.
She is preceded in death by her husband John W. Weaver and her sister Marjorie Webster Docter.
Survivors include her brother Donald F. Webster of Vero Beach. Virginia had no children, but was a beloved aunt to James Docter of Palm City, FL, Marilyn Docter Santana and husband Donaciano and David Docter and wife Winnie of St. Louis, MO. Great-Aunt to Carlos Santana, Theresa Obert, Katie Berardi and Joe Docter.
Services: A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 AM, Monday, July 14, 2008 at St. John of the Cross Catholic Church in Vero Beach with Father John Pasquini as celebrant. Mrs. Weaver will be transferred to St. Louis for final services and interment at Resurrection Cemetery.
