Wade Frederick Riley, 51, of Vero Beach, Florida, died Wednesday, May 15, 2013
at VNA Hospice House.

He was born May 26, 1961 in Miami, Florida and had been a resident of the
Treasure Coast since 1993 coming from Tallahassee, Florida.

Mr. Riley graduated from Southwest Miami High School in 1979 and received his
Bachelor of Science degree in Biological Sciences from Florida State University
in 1984. While attending Florida State University, Wade studied at FSU Edward
Ball Marine Laboratory and University of Florida Whitney Lab for Marine
Bioscience.

He worked for Florida Power and Light in Miami, Enviropact in Miami, Savannah
Labs in Tallahassee, Harbor Branch Oceanographic in Ft. Pierce, and HBEL, Inc.
in Palm City as an environmental chemist and most recently was employed by
Gilbert and Company, Inc. in Vero Beach.

Wade served with the Boy Scouts of America, Troop #382 in Miami. He completed a
summer at Philmont Scout Ranch in Cimarron, NM prior to earning his Eagle Scout
award in 1977.

He was also a member of The Sebring International Raceway Track Operations Team
Sebring, International Plastic Modelers Society "The Night Fighters" of Vero
Beach, the American Modelers Association and Florida Modelers Association as
well as the Treasure Coast Football League.

Mr. Riley is survived by his wife of 12 years, Judith Densmore Riley of Vero
Beach; aunt, Janet Riley of Vero Beach; cousins, Eloise (Dan) Nelson and their
three children, Daniel, Fred and Bradley of all Vero Beach, Janet (Jep) Hogan of
Atlanta, GA, H. Wade (Vicky) Riley, III of Palm Beach Gardens, FL and Fred Riley
of Tequesta, FL.

He was predeceased by his parents, Frederick and Betty Jo Riley.

Family will receive friends 6-8 pm, Friday, May 31st at Cox Gifford Seawinds
Funeral Home, Vero Beach. A celebration of life service will be held 11:00 am,
Saturday, June 1st at the funeral home.
