Waldron C. Schruers, 93, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, December 26, 2009 at the Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach after a brief illness.
Mr. Schruers was born February 22, 1916 in Oil City, PA and moved to Vero Beach in 1984 from Pocono Manor, PA.
He served in the U.S. Navy during WWII. Mr. Schruers was the Vice-President of EF MacDonald Company in New York and Dayton, OH. He was a member of the Vero Beach Country Club.
Survivors include his son Fred Schruers (Kate), daughter Priscilla Mitchell (Martin) and one grandson.
Services: A gathering will be held from 5-6:30 PM, Wednesday, January 13, 2010 at Cox-Gifford-Seawinds Palm Room in Vero Beach.
