Wallace "Wally" Riggins, 87, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away May 12, 2018, at Indian River Medical Center.

He was born May 15, 1930, in Johnson City, NY, to the late Marvin Walter Riggins and Fannie Elizabeth Gathany.

Wally graduated from Hallstead High School in Pennsylvania in 1949.  He served as a United States Navy Seabee during the Korean War in Guam.  Following his time in the service, Mr. Riggins worked for New York Telephone Company and retired from AT&T after 30 years as Regional Sales Manager.

Wally and his wife, Barbara, moved to Vero Beach in 1985 from Delmar, NY and he became very active in the Grove Isle Condominium Association.

He leaves his memories to be cherished by his wife of 64 years, Barbara; sons, Wesley (Terry) Riggins of Orinda, CA, Walter Riggins of Myrtle Beach, SC, Jeffrey Riggins of Delmar, NY; 6 grandchildren and 1 great-granddaughter.

At the request of Mr. Riggins, there will be no services.  In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to VNA and Hospice Foundation, 1110 35 ^th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960.
