Walter J. Ghetti's Obituary
Walter J. Ghetti, 93, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, August 12, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Ghetti was born in Natick, MA and lived on Cape Cod while spending many winters in Vero Beach.
During World War II he was a Shop Steward at the Fall River Shipyard constructing many warships.
He owned and operated many automotive businesses in MA. He was a member of the Rotary Club, Knights of Columbus where he was a 4th Degree Knight and had also served as the King Lion of the Lions Club.
Survivors include his wife of 68 years Eva T. Ghetti of Vero Beach; daughters Judith Ommen of Austin, TX and Pamela Reeve of Vero Beach; son Peter Michael Ghetti of Cape Cod; five grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Services: Services will be held at a later date.
Memorial contributions may be made to the VNA/Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, Florida 32960.
