Walter "Jim" Denyer, 66, of Ft. Pierce, Florida passed away July 26, 2016 at his home.
He was born September 12, 1949 at a Naval Base in Bethesda, MD to the late Walter Thomas and Esther Denyer. Growing up in a military family, Jim knew at a young age that he would follow in his father's footsteps and serve his Country he loved to dearly. He enlisted in the United States Marine and proudly served in and during the Vietnam War.
He moved to Ft. Pierce in 1988, coming from Castleberry, FL. He was very active in the Spanish Lakes Country Club community and was called the God Father by his many friends. He found great enjoy helping his neighbors and tending to his garden. Jim's kind heart and gentle soul will be great missed by all who knew him.
He leaves his memories to be cherished by his beloved companion of 29 years, Laura "Taz" Palmiere; daughter, Melanie (Michael) Tom of Hawaii; sister, Nancy Lewis of Indian Harbour Beach, FL; granddaughter, Claire Tom and many siblings, aunts, uncles, cousins, nieces and nephews. Jim was predeceased by his brother-in-law and dear friend, Eugene Lewis.
A Celebration of Jim's life will be held at a later date.
