Walter J. Perner, Jr., 75, of Vero Beach, FL died Saturday, February 13, 2010 at his home.
Mr. Perner was born March 10, 1934 in New York City and moved to Vero Beach 8 years ago from his place of birth.
He was a Theater Producer at Bucks County Play House in Pennsylvania, and in St. Louis and Long Island. Mr. Perner was a member of the Democratic Party, the Indian River Historical Society and Friends of the Library in Vero Beach and was a veteran of the Korean War, serving in the US Army. He was a devoted Met Fan and history buff.
Survivors include his sister Betty Sullivan of Vero Beach, nephew David Sullivan of Vero Beach, niece Eileen Watkins of Oak Ridge, NJ and six great-nieces and nephews.
Services: No services are planned at this time.
