Warren Bud Henly, 93, of Ft. Pierce, FL died July 12, 2014 at VNA Hospice House, Vero Beach.
He was born October 23, 1920 in Stamford, CT, lived in South Huntington, Long Island, NY and later moved to Ft. Pierce. Bud graduated from Pratt Institute and began working in advertisement in New York City. He retired as a Display Director of Federated Stores after 30 years. He was artist and cartoonist.
Mr. Henly was a veteran of the Army Air Corp, having served during WWII.
Bud was a member of the Community Church of Vero Beach and served as an usher.
Mr. Henly was survived by his wife of 60 years, Doris; sons, Richard and John Henly; grandchildren, Christopher Henly, Jonathan Henly and Kayla Beckham and great-granddaughters, Charlotte and Penny Beckham.
A memorial service will be held 11:30am, Tuesday, July 29, 2014 at the Community Church of Vero Beach. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the VNA & Hospice Foundation, 1110 35th Lane, Vero Beach, FL 32960 or to the Community Church of Vero Beach Music Department, 1901 23rd Street, Vero Beach, FL.
