Wesley Warren Lansdon, 58, of Melbourne, FL, Passed into eternal peace on Friday, March 15, 2010. He was born July 4, 1951 at Patrick AFB, FL.
After graduating Eau Gallie High School he joined the Marines during the Vietnam Conflict. He served his Country as a combat soldier and was severely wounded. He received a Purple Heart, Vietnamese Service Medal with Star, and a Combat Action Ribbon. After his return home, he began his career as aprofessional drywall finisher.
Wes is Survived by his wife, Roseanne (nee McCarthy); sons, Daniel and Wesley Lansdon; daughters, Lori Burns and Jennifer Burns (Dave); father, Warren Lansdon; Mother, Betty Shook; Sister, Dian (Bill) Langworthy; brother, Mike (Vicki) Lansdon. He was predeceased by his Sister, Elaine Lansdon. He is also Survived by 3 grandchildren, nieces and nephews, and many friends and neighbors.
Wes touched so many lives with his wonderful sense of humor, qick wit, and kindness. He was always willing to offer a helping hand to those in need.
From the age of 14 Wes had a special love for air boating and had the privilege of giving rides to the original "7" astronauts. by the age of 20, he was building and racing air boats.
He also enjoyed watching NASCAR, hunting, and fishing. Wes would never pass up the opportunity to teach a child how to fish.
