Wilbert Tyrone Brooks, 66, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, July 15, 2009 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Brooks was born August 25, 1942 in Pine Mountain, GA and moved to Vero Beach in 1980 from West Palm Beach, FL.
He worked as a Lot Manager at Janie Dean and Roger Dean Chevrolet for 32 years and was a member of the Church of Christ in Vero Beach.
Survivors include his wife of 31 years, Cindy Brooks of Vero Beach; daughter Tiffany Brooks of Clewiston, FL; son Steven Brooks of Honolulu, HI; daughter Stephanie Brooks of Vero Beach; brothers Terry Brooks of West Palm Beach, FL, Douglas Brooks of West Palm Beach, FL, Everett Brooks of Atlanta, GA, Alfred Brooks of California and Michael Brooks of Covington, GA; sister Patricia Brooks of Lake Charles, LA; and four grandchildren.
He was predeceased by his parents John and Jearaldean Brooks and brothers Phillip, Grady and John Cullin, Jr.
Service: A life celebration will be held 7:00 pm, Monday, July 20, 2009 at the Vero Beach Church of Christ.
