Duddles, Willard H. of FORT PIERCE, FL. had succumbed to lung cancer on December 15, 2012, age 83 years.
Willard was born February 1929 in Detroit, MI. He grew up in Wisconsin and worked in Milwaukee, WI. Then served in the US Navy active duty for 20 years followed by 10 years in America's Navy Reserve while driving bus for the city of Washington, DC. He retired to Florida after traveling the United States via RV. Willard loved the Navy and always had either a good story or a good joke to share from his days in service.
Willard is preceded in death by wife Kathryn (Kay), son David, parents Floyd & Jean Duddles. Survived by siblings Donald (and Patricia) Duddles of Waukesha, WI; Gilbert (and JoAnn) Duddles of Winter Springs, FL; 14 nieces and nephews. Willard is further survived by longtime companion, Bertha (Bertie) Wolfe of Vero Beach, FL.
Burial-at-sea service will be performed by a Naval Command Officer at a future date.
