Willard A. Walsh aka John Willard Aloysius, 88, of Ft. Pierce, FL, died Monday, December 24, 2012 at Treasure Cost Hospice in Ft. Pierce, FL. Mr. Walsh was born June 25, 1924 in Brooklyn, NY. He had been a resident of Ft. Pierce for 27 years, moving here from East Islip, NY.He was a Veteran of World War II serving with the US Air Force. He was a member of Knights of Columbus.Prior to retirement he was employed as a purchaser for Bay Shore Electric in NY.Survivors include his spouse of 63 years Jean P. Walsh of Ft. Pierce, FL; sons William Walsh of Hancock, NY, Mark Walsh of Ann Arbor, MI, Christopher Walsh of Patchogue, NY, James Walsh of Calverton, NY,Michael Walsh of Atlanta, GA; daughters Jean Clancy of Wellington, FL, Kathleen Hahn of Sound Beach, NY, Elizabeth Gedney of Bayport, NY; brothers Gerard Walsh of Sayville, NY, Vincent Walsh of Sayville, NY; 18 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 10:00 AM, Saturday, January 5, 2013 at St. Helen Catholic Church in Vero Beach, FL.
