Bill Sweet, 78, of Vero Beach, Florida, passed away May 8, 2018, at Indian River Medical Center after a lengthy battle with cancer.

He had two wonderful sons, Scott and Stacey with his lovely wife Nancy, who was a wonderful wife and mother.   Bill was a firefighter in Manchester, CT and unfortunately divorced in 1988.

He retired in 1996 and moved to Vero Beach, FL with his life partner, Anne Devanney. Bill loved to surf fish on the beach and painting acrylics.  His painting specialty was tiki bars in Florida.

A memorial service will be held 1 pm, Saturday, May 12, 2018, at the Italian American Club in Vero Beach.
