William Mack "Bill" Dickinson, 98, of Vero Beach, FL, formerly of Evansville, passed away Monday, September 14, 2015 at Vero Beach.
Bill was born August 16, 1917 in Palestine, IL to the late William J. and Tressa A. (Kincaid) Dickinson. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II and worked at Keller Crescent. Bill was a Boy Scout Leader, a member of Lessing Masonic Lodge and a former member of Central United Methodist Church.
He is survived by his wife, Gail Dickinson of Vero Beach, FL; daughters, Tressa Strouse (Gene) and Norma Jean Rich, both of Evansville; sons, Darrell Dickinson (Wyota) of Vero Beach, FL, Steve Dickinson (Jeanne) of Evansville and Glenn Dickinson of Holt, FL; sister, Shirley Young of Vero Beach, FL and 17 grandchildren, several great grandchildren and great great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his first wife, Sara (Willingham) Dickinson.
