Obituary

Rev. William O. Doss, 95, passed away on Tuesday, April 19, 2011 at the William Childs Hospice House in Palm Bay, FL. He served in the U.S. Army in the European Theater during World War II.
Rev. Doss was of the Baptist faith and was a pastor for churches in Virginia and North Carolina.
He is survived by his son, Bill Doss and wife, Brenda of Jasper, AL; 2 daughters, Mary Largin, and husband, Curtis of Columbiana, AL and Marie Hickman and husband, Howard of Melbourne Beach, FL; 8 grandchildren, Harris Hickman, Dave Hickman, Lisa Bryan, Mike Largin, Derek Largin, Billy Doss, Garrett Doss and Robin Doss; and 17 adorable great-grandchildren and 5 great-great grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Ruth C. Doss in January, 2008.
Visitation will be from 1:00 p.m. to 2:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 26, 2011 at Heritage Chapel Funeral Home in Tuscaloosa, AL and interment will follow with a committal service at 2:00 p.m. at Tuscaloosa Memorial Park in Tuscaloosa, AL.
In lieu of flowers, family requests that donations be made to Hospice of Health First, 1900 Dairy Road, West Melbourne, Fl. 32904 or to a charity of your choice.
