William Joseph Gunter age 80 died on Tuesday February 14th, 2012.

He was born in Danvers, Mass. July 30th, 1931, moved to Vero Beach one week later
and was a lifelong resident of Vero Beach.

He was the Owner and Operator of the Vero Beach Mattress Company and later worked
with his wife at Old Town Interiors until their retirement.

He was a Veteran of the United States Air Force and had served in the Korean conflict.
He was a past member of the Rio Mar Bay Yacht Club, and was a member of the First United Methodist Church.

He was preceded in death by his son Glen W. Gunter.

Survivors include his wife Evelyn B. Gunter of Vero Beach, FL; son A. Dale Gunter of Jacksonville, FL; brothers Robert B. Gunter of Vero Beach, FL and James B. Gunter of St. Augustine, FL; and two grandchildren.

Services were held on Friday February 24th, 2012 at Crestlawn Cemetery in Vero Beach.
