William "Terry" Terrance Mackey, 76 of Vero Beach passed away November 1, 2022.

He was born on October 14, 1946 in Gainesville Florida, moved to Vero Beach at an early age and was a life-long resident.

After high school, Terry joined the United States Navy and served as a Machinist on a destroyer. Upon his discharge from the Navy, he went to work in the citrus industry and made that his lifelong career and passion.

Terry is preceded in death by his parents Omer and Vivian Mackey, wife Meredith and sisters Marcella and Gayle as well as a grandson Tyler Hayzlett.

He is survived by his sons Terry, Tommy, Timmy and Jimmy; daughter Julie as well as numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews.

Visitation will be held from 10:30am-12:30pm, Monday November 7, 2022 at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home, 1950 20th Street Vero Beach, FL 32960. Graveside services with military honors conducted by the United States Navy Honor Guard will follow at Crestlawn Cemetery.
