William Alva Mallory, 80 of Micco, Fl died August 28, 2008 at Sebastian River Medical Center, after an extended illness. Born in Decker, IN, he has been a resident of Micco for the past 26 years coming from Vero Beach, FL.
He served in the United States Army during the Korean War.
Prior to retirement, he worked on the assembly line for International Harvester, in Evansville, IN.
Survivors include, his wife of 55 years, Hazel Mallory of Micco, Fl. Daughters, Donna Pyke of Vero Beach, Fl, Patricia Anne Pyke of Vero Beach, FL, Melissa Blizman of Vero Beach, Fl, Deborah Shivers of Fellsmere, Fl, Brenda Locke of Fellsmere, Fl and 3 sons James Mallory of Micco, Fl, Robert Mallory of Micco, Fl and John Mallory of Sebastian, Fl. 18 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
He was pre-deceased by his daughter, Susan Mallory.
Services: A funeral service will be held, on Sunday at 2pm with the Reverend Buddy Johns officiating. Friends may call from 12 noon to 2pm on Sunday, August 31, 2008 at the Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian, FL. Burial will be held in Somerville Cemetery in Oakland City, IN.
