William (Bill) Marakis, 81, of Vero Beach, died Friday, June 30, 2023 at his residence.

He was born to the late Victor and Ruth Marakis on January 26, 1942 in Miami, FL.

He served in the United States Marine Corp, and the United States Coast Guard.

William(Bill) is survived by his wife Helen (Mo) Carr, of Vero Beach; two daughters, Tracy Stone, of Brandon, FL.; Teri Owen, of North Port, FL.; he is also survived by two grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

There will be no service at this time.

In lieu of flowers the family is requesting that donations be made to any Humane Society of your choice.
