W. Craig Marshall age 63 passed away on December 3, 2008 after a year-long courageous battle with cancer.
Craig is survived by his loving family including: his wife of 40 years, Kathy Marshall of Vero Beach; daughter, Christy Drabin (Michael) of Jacksonville, FL; son Jake Marshall (Alli) of New York City and four beautiful grandchildren, Julianna and Will Drabin, Jack and Mia Marshall and his mother, Marjorie Marshall of Wilmington, Delaware.
Craig worked at Wilmington Trust for 32 years and was most recently Senior Vice President at Northern Trust in Vero Beach. Craig graduated from Jacksonville University with a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and is a graduate of the Stonier Graduate School of Banking at Rutgers University and the National Graduate Trust School at Northwestern University. Craig served in the United States Army with a tour of duty in Vietnam in 1968-69.
Locally Craig served on many boards, most recently Riverside Theater and Vero Beach Museum of Art. Craig is a member of Bent Pine Country Club and Buck Hill Golf Club in Buck Hill Falls, PA. Craig always appreciated a good round of golf, but his happiest times were spent enjoying his family and friends.
A memorial service, in the Quaker tradition, will be held on Saturday, December 6, 2008 10:00AM at First Christian Church in Vero Beach.
