William (Bill) McLellan of Vero Beach, Florida and formerly of Brewer, Maine, passed away peacefully on August 27, 2019 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach. He was born March 26, 1929 in Bangor, Maine, to Bernard D. And Levida C. (Jones) McLellan.
Bill graduated from John Bapst High School in 1948 and enlisted in the US Navy, serving during the Korean Conflict. He was a lifelong member of the Disababled American Veterans and a member of the National Association of Retired Federal Employees.

He is survived by his wife of 69 years, Irene M. Bill was predeceased by four siblings; Bernard McLellan, Francis Doyle, John McLellan, and Mary Bragdon, and one beloved grandson James S. McLellan.
A memorial service celebrating Bill's life will be held at 1:00 pm on September 7, 2019 at Cox-Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home in Vero Beach, Florida and he will be interned at Mt. Pleasant Cemetary in Bangor, Maine. A grave side service in Bangor will be scheduled at a later date.
In lieu of flowers, Bill's family ask that donations be made to the Ronald McDonald House or the VNA Hospice House of Vero Beach.
