William H. McPherson, 87, of Fort Pierce, passed away on Sunday, April 14, 2013 at the Treasure Coast Hospice House in Fort Pierce.
Mr. McPherson was born March 2, 1926 in Knoxville, TN. He had been a resident of Fort Pierce for 17 years, coming from Watertown, NY.
He served in the Army Corps during WWII. Later he served in the Air Force during the Korean War.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a Master Electrician, and recently celebrated his 50th year. He was a member of the IBEW #145 in Moline, IL.
He was of the Catholic faith.
He was a member of the Spanish Lakes Country Club, the Island Pines Golf Club, the Eagles and the Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Survivors include his wife 35 years, Josephine; daughters, Roberta Larrabee of Tully, NY and Sandy Sicari of Davenport, IA; sons, Michael, Harold and Bruce McPherson all of Davenport, IA; sister, Betty Fillmer of Las Vegas, NV; and a host of grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his son, William Patrick McPherson; brother, James and his sister, Mary.
Services will be held at a later date.
