William Henry Perkins, 90, of Vero Beach, FL died Wednesday, December 22, 2010 at Indian River Medical Center in Vero Beach
Mr. Perkins was born July 4, 1920 in Long Island, NY. He was a resident of Vero Beach since 1969 coming from Port Jefferson, NY.
Prior to his retirement he worked as a Service Worker for the City of Vero. He was a member of the American Legion, Post #39.
Survivors include his wife, Jeanette; daughters; Elaine Coombs of Mesa, AZ, Anna Beck of Kellogg, ID, Suzanne Tyner of Clearwater, FL, Mary Seldomridge of Cass, WV and Tamara Hoelke of Sebastian, FL. He is also survived by 7 grandchildren and 4 great-grandchildren.
A graveside service will be held at South Florida National Cemetery in Lake Worth, FL on Friday, January 14, 2011 at 1:00 p.m.
Memorial contributions may be made to the American Heart Association at PO Box 3049, Syracuse, NY 13220-3049.
