William Frederick Schaefer passed away on Thursday, November 23, 2017 at 4:13 pm, with his family at home in Vero Beach. Bill was born on June 8, 1927 in Washington, D.C. to William Schaefer & Lucille Kemp. He served in the Merchant Marines during World War II, the Army during the Korean War, was in the car business, and in land development & real estate sales. He is survived by his wife, Lila Schaefer, his four children and spouses, Dawn (Joe), Debbie (Perry), Sherrie, Ronald, and his grandchildren, Danielle (Rob) Anthony, Shelby & Alexander.

A private family service will be held.
