William Sheridan, 85 of Vero Beach, FL died Thursday, August 14, 2008 at the VNA Hospice House in Vero Beach.
Mr. Sheridan was born in Thompsonville, CT and moved to Vero Beach in 1994 from North Carolina.
He served in the Army Air Corps in the Phillipines during WW II. Mr. Sheridan had graduated from the University of New Hampshire and earned his Masters in Education at Plymouth State College in New Hampshire. He ran the school system at Patrick AFB in Florida before going back to the Air Force as a personnel officer. After leaving the service he returned to education in Brevard County, FL. He loved playing golf and was learning to play bridge.
He was predeceased by his son Glenn Sheridan.
Survivors include Elaine Sheridan, his wife of 60 years, daughter Patricia Benford and two grandchildren.
