William John Stasiak's Obituary
William J. Stasiak, 83 died January 23, 2009 at the Veterans Hospital in West Palm Beach.
He was born in Everett, MA, April 2, 1925 the 2nd of five children of Stanley and Katherine Stasiak and was a resident of Vero Beach, Fl for 8 years, coming from Weston, FL.
William served in the US Army during WWII. He saw action in North Africa and Italy. He was captured in Italy in January, 1984 and held by the Germans until the end of war.
He is survived by his brother, Frederick Stasiak of Sebastian, FL.
William was buried at the South Florida National Cemetery, Lakeworth, FL, January 29, 2009 with full military honors.
