William C. Williams, 93, of Vero Beach, died Friday, February 24, 2012 at the Florida Baptist Retirement Center.

Mr. Williams was born August 20, 1918 in Youngstown, OH. He had been a resident of Vero Beach since 1985, coming from Atlanta, GA.

He was of the Methodist faith.

Mr. Williams graduated from Kent State University with a Bachelor's degree in Chemistry.

Prior to his retirement he worked as a sales representative for the Pfizer Pharmaceuticals Company.

He was an avid golfer and tennis player.

Survivors include his daughters, Carol Notter of Atlanta, GA, Gayle Howald of Atlanta, GA, and Mardy Hall of Vero Beach; sister Betty Jean Waters of Naples; five grandchildren and three great grandchildren.

William was preceded in death by his wife of 40 years, Kathleen; granddaughter Lindsey Notter and sister Sally Fleming.

Services will be held at a later date.
