Died on Sunday, September 06, 2009, at the Williams Child Hospice House, Palm Bay. She was born in Freehold, N.J. on March 30 1917, and moved to Point Pleasent Beach, NJ, in 1938.
Mrs Austin was owner and Manager of the Austin Guest House on Central Avenue., Pt. Pleasent Beach for 50 Yars. She was past president and Honoray Member of the Women's Club of Point Pleasent and Lifetime Member of the B. P. O. Elks Auxiliary. Wini moved to Melbourne, Florida, in 1993 and joined the Eau Gallie and the Melbourne Women Club, where she was chosen volunteer of the year in 2007. She was muched loved "office angel" for Habitat for Humanity of South Brevard. She was preceeded in death by her husband, Charles G. Austin; and son James C. Austin. Surviving are sons, Robert J and wife Leslie, of scottsdale, Ariz., and william P. and wife, Donna of Fincastle, VA.; daughter-in-law, Alice Austin, of Boyce, LA., eight grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren, and one great great grandchildren. Services will be held at 10am on Thursday September 10, 2009, at Davis Seawinds funeral home, 560 Montreal Avenue Melbourne, Florida with burial service on Saturday, September 12, 2009, at Higgins memorial Funeral Home, 20 Center Street Freehold, NJ. 732-462-0895.
