Winifred Mary "Winnie" (Haigh) (Perreault) Gomez of Fort Pierce died Friday, September 30, 2016 with her family by her side. She was born to the late Harold and Mary Ann Haigh on August 13, 1927 in Philadelphia, PA. She attended Howe High School in Billerica, MA, and later graduated from Newton Hairdressing School in Lowell, MA.

In her later years she was employed by Applicon Inc. of Billerica, MA, and after moving to San Jose, Calif., worked at Ven-Tel Corp until her retirement. She then moved to Fort Pierce, Florida with her family, where she remained.

Winifred is survived by her children Janet (George) Surprenant of Fort Pierce, FL, Raymond (Kathy) Perreault of Cumming, GA, Donna (Scott) Forbes of Saint Augustine, FL, and David (Patti) Perreault of San Jose, CA. She also has 3 grandchildren, Melissa Robinson, Katie Spence, and Lauren Forbes, and one great grandchild, Palmer Robinson.

A visitation will be held on Thursday, October 13, 2016 from 10 AM-12 PM at Cox Gifford Seawinds Funeral Home followed by a service at noon.
