Winifred J. Weston, 80 of Sebastian, Fl died June 6, 2008 at Indian River Medical Center.
Mrs. Weston was born May 6, 1928 in Holmdel, NJ and moved to Sebastian in 1989.
She was a retired teacher having taught 5th grade and College. She graduate from Northern Illinois University in 1962 and received her masters degree form Rutgers University in 1971 and was a member of First Presbyterian Church in Red Bank, NJ.
Survivors include her husband of 54 years, Robert E. Weston, Sr.; 2 sons, George W. Weston of Fair Haven, NJ, Robert E. Weston, JR of Vero Beach; 3 daughters, Christine J. Weston-Lyons of Potomac, MD, Alicejean Weston-Popiel of Longwood, FL, Linn J. Matthews of Sebastian, FL; a sister, Charlotte Ackerson of Pompano Beach, Fl and 10 grandchildren. She was preceded in death by a sister, Alida Z. Evans.
Visitation will be from 1-3 PM on Sunday, June 8, 2008 at Seawinds Funeral Home, Sebastian with a service being held at 3:00 PM. She will be transferred to Morganville, NJ for burial in Old Tennet Presbyterian Church Cemetery.
