Woodrow (Woody) Hyatt passed at Pelican Landing Assisted Living on December 6, 2021 at the age of 94. Born to William and Hattie Hyatt in Greenwood NC, he was their 12th child.

Woody was an accountant for the federal government living in northern Virginia and served in the United States Air Force from 1947 to 1951 and helped with the Berlin airlift. He was a friend of Bill W. for 54 years helping many people.

Woody married Evelyn Lorraine Moats and they were married for 64 years before her passing. He is also preceded in death by his son, David Allen Hyatt. Survivors include his children, Cynthia (Daniel) Pillitteri of Columbus Ohio, Michael (Sally) Hyatt of Murphy NC, Susan (Andre) Follot of Sebastian FL; his niece, Sylvia Miller of Fort Pierce, 7  grandchildren and 7 great grandchildren.

A Memorial Service will be held privately at a later date.
